Found this little gem on Google maps while looking for a place for lunch during our tour in the north of Scotland. We had a haddock warp and a Cajun cod burger as well as Cullen Skink soup. They were all delicious and fresh. I saw someone ordered a shared platter and it looked amazing. If I come again I’ll definitely try it.
Delicious and fresh seafood in a picturesque setting! Enjoyed the soup, crab salad, lobster, and chips. Excellent coffee as well!! Vendor was running low on stock when we arrived but what they did have was very good.
Great, fresh food, fun and open minded owners & a really spectacular view, we had a seafood platter for two which was amazing, they even bake their own pita breads. Hard recommend!
Absolutely stunning place for food; both our meals were incredibly tasty and served in good time. Prices were about right for the quality of food you’re getting and I would absolutely recommend taking a visit here if you’re in the area. Venue has some covered seating with a sandy floor, and beware of hungry seagulls!
For my birthday I decided I wanted fresh beautiful seafood and was recommended this place.. I was not let down . I ordered the sharing platter.. this consisted of parmesan chips, half a lobster, scallops, mussels, salad and dips.. I added some langoustines.. when they found it it was my birthday they referred to the platter as a birthday platter which was cute.. the food was cooked to perfection and unbelievably good.. we sat in the shelter and ate with the view of the beach as our background.. would highly recommend.. will defo be back..
Gorgeous little spot! Really tasty cod burger, fresh crunchy salad on a st. Pierre brioche bun. Chips are perfectly cooked, view is gorgeous. Highly recommend.
Another fantastic meal from Highland Larder! Great outdoor seating, covered area if weather inclement...bean bags to lounge on... Excellent customer service, a perfect place to stop after a walk on Dornoch Beach, or you can take your tray to the sands! Thanks from us, Tor and Baillie too who enjoyed the treat we got for them !
Great little find right on the beach and golf course. The seafood basket was so great. The fish wraps were huge and delicious!
